This book is stunning. It helps children of all ages; as well as adults appreciate what it’s like to be non-verbal.
As an Autistic adult, with 2 Autistic children; it resonates with me even though we’re all high-functioning.

A beautifully written book which helps children to understand additional needs and how we are all equal regardless of the path we take. My Year 2 class thoroughly enjoyed this book, as did the rest of our school when we had an author visit for World Book Day. Children could relate to the characters in the story as they may have friends with similar characteristics, some saw themselves in the characters. The illustrations are also well drawn and capture the images of the characters wonderfully.
